As many of you may know one of my few friends lives nowhere near me. If I go outside (assuming I start inside) I cannot see you. It's not that I never see you, because we make time out of our conflicting schedules to visit when we are in the same vicinity. Our conversations cover the multitudes of shenanigans either of us have gotten into, some of which I hear briefly about from the occasional phone call, but in person they are elaborated.
Sometimes I wish that the void would open allowing you to view what I observe, so we could have a mutual eye roll, laugh, or punch someone. A great wish though we don't mess with dark magic ever since we entered Narnia. By the way, I've lost the game. I haven't had any lavender water. I'll drive us to the next food place we visit, because you drove last time. Well, kinda.
Anyways, I tried not to make new friends today. I am not sure if I truly succeeded as I saw a person I had encountered in the past, so we chatted. No friendship bracelets or anything yet, so I suppose I may have succeeded for today. The future is still showing the blue whale holding a two leaf clover in the crystal shell. Most likely a sign about a long commute coming up.
I end on a happier note. You are reading this. Therefore you took time out of your day to look at these letters I threw into a pattern and may or may not be proud of. Perhaps we are friends. Perhaps we can strengthen our friendship or hatred of one another. That will be determined on an unscented day.
